This observatory uses a radio wave reception technique based on the reflection of distant radio signals off the ionized trail left by meteoroids (also known as shooting stars). Specifically, it utilizes the signal from a French space radar located near Dijon. The receiver's signal is continuously monitored 24/7, and if a positive detection occurs, the spectrum image is saved and later reviewed and uploaded to this website.
